Our First Christmas Away From Home❤️

Thank you PayPal for sponsoring this post. Visit PayPal to give the gift people really want this season: money!

This year is our first Christmas away from our homes, our families, our friends, and our culture. We are so excited to be spending the holidays traveling to places we have never been before, but of course there is a little part of us that will be missing home! With being so far away from our families, it is so hard to send gifts to each other since international shipping is so expensive. So this year we will be having a very unique (and awesome) way to exchange of gifts instead!

Okay, I know what you're thinking... What are we talking about? So here it is, we are talking about money! Isn't that what everyone wants after the age of 12 anyways?😉 PayPal P2P now has the CUTEST holiday greetings that can spice up your gift of money for anyone from your grandma to your boyfriend! This digital holiday greeting is super easy to use and is perfect for a last minute gift.

With PayPal P2P, you can securely send and receive money with family and friends using just a phone number or email address between PayPal accounts. Be it food for Friendsgiving, the taxi to a holiday party, or that group gift for Mom and Dad, there are many reasons to use PayPal P2P payments this holiday season. Holiday gifts are great, but the reality is, many of them are just going to be re-gifted or hidden in the back of a closet. Yet even though we’re all thinking it, it can be a little awkward asking for money as a gift so you can buy that bag you really want. The good news: You are not alone! PayPal’s 2017 Holiday Money Habits study found that money is the most-wanted gift for the second year in a row, and 52% of Americans wish they could ask for cash instead of traditional holiday presents this year.

So, if you’re in need of a last-minute gift or simply just don’t know what to get all of the people on your list, seize the season with PayPal’s free P2P holiday greetings so people can get what they really want this year: MONEY. You can send a PayPal P2P digital greeting by simply logging into your account on PayPal.com, select Send Money, enter the recipient’s contact information, designate the amount, click the gift box, select your favorite greeting, personalize with a message, and send. The funds go right into their PayPal account; if they don’t have an account, they can quickly open one for free.

Merry Christmas to YOU from London! We hope that you will be able to use this easy and secure way of sending money to your loved ones. Happy Holidays!🎉

That’s a great idea, and also in the process saves a ton of waste, because otherwise a lot of the unneeded presents end up going to the waste.

I like giving co-op gift cards too, becuase everyone loves food, especially really high quality foods, but not everyone is familiar with the co-op so it’s a good way to increase familiarity and maybe try a new food or product.
